German Forward Makes Move from Heidenheim

28-Year-Old Adds Depth to Foals' Attack

Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach has signed forward Tim Kleindienst from 1. FC Heidenheim on a contract until 2025. Kleindienst, who has made 110 appearances in the German second division, will provide depth and experience to the Foals' attack.

The 28-year-old German international, who is known for his strength and aerial ability, is a proven goalscorer. He has scored 40 goals in the 2. Bundesliga and helped Heidenheim finish in the top half of the table in each of the last three seasons.

Kleindienst's signing is the latest in a series of moves by Borussia to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2023-24 season. The Foals have already brought in midfielder Julian Weigl from Benfica and defender Ko Itakura from Manchester City.

With his experience and goalscoring prowess, Kleindienst is expected to play a key role in Borussia's upcoming campaign. He will be hoping to help the Foals challenge for a European place and make a deep run in the DFB-Pokal.
